Toll charges scheduled to be removed on the Severn Crossing by the end of 2018

Around 25 million vehicles utilise the Severn crossing every year, paying the highest toll charge on UK roads. For a van, it currently costs £13.40 to cross the bridge creating a nightmare for companies in the area, including those less regionally based that have to make the trip. However, by the end of 2018, the tolls are to be removed altogether as ownership passes to Highways England. We think it’s great news for those operating in the area as for once it’s a charge that works positively in the favour of the driver! It’s also good news for our very own Cardiff site, that support customers on both sides of the bridge day in and day out.
